Right now, the majority 75% of the wolves that have been killed in Montana are trapped. "There doesn't seem to be a great excuse for not regulating it," he says. There has to be something that makes traps safer for bycatch and if there isn't, then we have to question whether we can do this as an overtly safe, unsafe and unmanageable practice.
