What Is Science?

Even up through the 19 hundreds, there was this period of what it is to be a scientific worker. And you really see those changing standards of what counts as a valid contribution to science being reflected in the pages of nature. The state of knowledge and the methods weren't now far enough so that sin science could be sort of re theorized or even brought into new perspective. It's one of the fascinating things about nature to me, how members of the scientific community define who is and is not qualified to talk about science.
