The Cost of Modernizing the Grid
As we move towards new technologies that suck up even more energy like electric vehicles, we're going to be relying even more on the power from the grid. The problem? Modernizing the grid will not be cheap. A few years ago, I actually put down a pen and paper like what would it cost to basically rebuild the entire system if we wanted to)? We came out with about five to five and a half trillion dollars.
