Bareline, Sertiline, and AmSorb are the three absorbents that you want to know about. You've got to turn off your anesthetic machine when it's not in use because even if you just turn down the flows or turn off the monitor, you'll still get a slow flow of 200 mils per minute of oxygen going through some machines. And then you need to change the canisters regularly or after use, or whether the machine was turned off. Yeah, I think this area of research has actually really advanced over the last decade or so.
