Elon Musk: The New Boss of Twitter
The world's richest man has been shaking up the messaging platform since his multi-billion dollar takeover last month. In between riling critics on social media, he testified in a shareholder lawsuit earlier this week to defend the $56 billion pay package he was awarded by Tesla. After just six days of being in charge, he got rid of around half the company's 8,000 employees. Staff received an email saying their job had been terminated and they were logged out of their accounts. One employee told me they expected the move, but even so, it was all so sudden she said.
