Catastrophism, Isn't It?
Sotat: The notion of catastrophe as basically something very stupid happens as a result of an intelligence explosion, i find deeply nubut catastrophic in the technical sense. Sotat: What liberation looks like is pulling out enough of the containment structure that this new self feeding, dynamic process erupts. And so again, i think there's the reactionary voices that say, you know, when liberals talk about liberalism, they're really talking about some kind of disaster.
