The Four Rules That Apply With Groups
There are four rules that tell you whether a set is a group, and it's all about how the elements are combined. By combining elements, you will always get something back tat you already have. The first rule is this closure rule. You have to be able to stay inside your set when you combine any two elements. So with addition, if you got three numbers, a, b and c, then if you want to find out what’s a plus b plus c, you get the same answer if you go a plus b minus c.
