How Did the Medicalization of Blackness Affect Native American Communities?

The medicalization of blackness normalized the discourse around race being a biological reality, writes Amelina hogarth. It was used to shore up professional authority by southern white doctors who were also using this to establish their authority. The idea that this information was coming from the authority of british forms of knowledge and so we wanted to hear a bit about the impacts on a variety of groups including native american people or other racially minoritized groups.
