How to Avoid Problem Investors
The number one thing is to avoid those problem investors. If you can, find one or two who really cannot value to you and who you really are excited to be with on that full journey. The large early rounds can both be unnecessarily deluded because it's the most expensive capital you'll ever raise from an equity perspective. And they can also remove the sense of urgency and scarcity that drives innovation and focus.
