The Importance of Going Back to Play Cricket
When you watch test cricket do you still feel engaged in the same way? Has that evolved over time? Well I don't think you can go on feeling exactly the same way about it. You immediately begin to watch it with a more kind of analytical and detached hair. So your relationship to the game changes and you have to be careful of that. Otherwise you're undermining something that you really enjoy. Just being able to forget at all about that professional element to my cricket relationship I find very therapeutic.
