The Culture of Sexual Harassment in Politics
Women's Hour is always talking about the culture of sexual harassment in politics. But why do you think so many women are going through these instances but not feeling they can report it? I would say that a large number of these cases and played is actually an example, obviously we can't talk about individual cases, but this is something that lies behind the played report. It has been known for quite some time that there were issues around the sexual harassment culture in play, and it hasn't been picked up by national media. The other thing is I have talked to women who've had experiences in play before,. I'm afraid people simply news organisations don't give it the attention it deserves.
