When i was younger, a material science just struck me as completely uninteresting. It wasn't really until later that i kind of groped into understanding actually. You take somebody who's got a training in physic hat may be an appetite for problems solving or building models and there's so much they can do. I appreciate the fact that that you need to come at this problem from both ends.
