The Tension Between the Lawyer and the Client
The Unibomber litigated the whole idea of his lawyers trying to enter into any kind of a mental health defense for him because he believed that diminished him. And so there was that tension between the lawyers and the client. This phenomenon of where the client is so entrenched in the delusion, if you will, that they don't even want to characterize it as a delusion. They get angry if you'd confront them with that. That to me is a is a ethical conundrum for the lawyer number one and number two.
