There's a cost to securing the network and that function of securing the network is called mining. Also the function that generates new forms of currency and a cryptocurrency. I would see those countries jumping on first. You're not going to see this in the rural parts of Sudan or the Congo, but you might see it in Lagos, Nigeria, South Africa and Manila much faster.
