The Impact of AI on M&A Deals in the Second Half of 2023
About a third of the deals in the last six months have been tech deals. The few sectors that are really heavy players in the M&A markets relates to AI or health care. Financial services is using AI to make risk assessment, you know, to make more robust risk assessment decisions as they make their investment decisions. Consumer and retail is also heavily looking at AI to gauge consumer sentiment to better forecast inventory and demand management overall.
