The Taliban and the Future of Education in Afghanistan

There's a lot of concern about the way women and girls will be allowed to live their lives in afghanistan. The taleban has said that this is a temporary phase tey allow girls in grade seven to 12 go to school. But we went to a large girls school in cabo which has been teaching girls for a hundred years, with some gaps. A thousand students were told to stay home this fall. Can imagine if you had a daughter september, girls around, and you have to tell her, i'm sorry, you can't go to school hered well, it might be better in the future but it might not.
