The Importance of Sustainability in Residential Building
The bulk of the carbon footprint comes from the structure and then some of it will come from the services. We're working with engineers to see where we can tighten and reduce the spans of structural grids which again takes volume and weight out of floor slabs and columns. Public space that's provided adjacent and around these buildings does a good service to the public who are going to be enjoying those spaces.
