The Reformation of the Cathedrals

When you get to victorian times, there are huge changes made to british institutions. Cathedrals can no longer expect to be representing the whole of the population or the governing order. So they then have to acquire some kind of new purpose in life which i suppose goes back to being more religious again. A and in modern times, has become more cultural.
