Professor Rima Vrithianathan talks about her work in the United States using administrative data to help make sure that child outcomes are better. The first time she deployed a predictivorous model was in Allegheny County, and then subsequently it was rolled out in a few counties in Colorado and California. In the US, there's around 7 million calls to what's called a child abuse hotline. Those children who've had similar history of removals, of mom having been abused or not abused when she was young, that pattern looks similar to the child in front of you.
