Musharraf: If you knew nothing about what A.Q. Khan was doing on his many trips abroad, you were entirely incompetent. The point is you didn't actually move against him till much later and then you decided to make him the scapegoat. When I was confronted or when I was told the realities and the fact with documentary evidence, I removed it. Musharraf says he did not give green light to American drone strikes in Pakistan.
