The Clean Water Act and the Environmental Integrity Project
A coalition of 13 environmental groups are suing the EPA to get them to enforce provisions of the clean water act. The lawsuit is aimed at stopping oil refineries and chemical plants from dumping poisons into our waters. Water pollution standards have not been updated in 30 or 40 years despite a requirement to do so decades ago.
