Soft software projects an can be simple. They can also be complex. Complicated things are things like cars and aeroplanes that have to be put together, often need expert analysis in order to make them work. The vast majority of the soft ware that we build is complicated. A complex environment is determined by all the agents, all o the acting parties in a complex environment are intensely interconnected. And so the connection between your software components, your decomposition, your choices, m and the market and people around that software are so deep that you cannot do a good job as engineer ifyo if you ignore them.
