Bill Cohen met Jack Welch at the Nantucket Golf Club for lunch. The first thing out of Welch's mouth was that he had messed up his succession process. He felt by 2018, Jeff Imalt would have been fired and John Flannery be the new CEO. "At that moment, I kind of knew I was onto something," says Cohen.
