The black list was started in two thousand five by franklin leonard, as an annual survey of the most liked screen plays in town. It's just become a really great sort of collection,. at the end of the year of really great screen play sthat are not being produced. Tons of writers have come through, something like, you know, 25 oscar wins, four blacklest scripts, a couple billion dollars in global box office - which is pretty cool. But we also have a two sided market place that anybody, anywhere in the world with an english language screen player pilot can upload a script and make it available to thousands of industry members.
