The right-wing press radio was growing as a medium at this time. General Capel O'iano had his daily broadcasts, which had an enormous impact. In the Francoist zone, it was basically one huge barracks. There was no chance of there being any kind of resistance,. Any kind of opposition was considered mutiny and punishable by death.
