The Lord's Threat to Eliminate the Body of Israel

Moses stands in the breach verse 22 and he says, Oh God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, when one man sins, will you be angry with the entire congregation? The Lord responds in verse 20 by saying, Hey, they better get back. Separate yourselves from this congregation that I may consume them instantly. Just because Korah sins doesn't mean that you wipe out the entire body of Israel. And so everybody verse 27, everybody starts backing up because they know something's about to happen.
