I Think We're Going to Enter Into a Period of Stagflation
The economy grew very well last year, but that was largely because the restrictions imposed by covid had been lifted. The forecasts for the coming few years are the economies going to grow roughly between one and one point four % every few factur in inflation. That's not really growf at all. What we've entered into now is stagflation. We're back to the 19 seventies. And this is a really serious problem for the government, and indeed for the labor opposition.
