You're Identity Is You
We start off life as completely selfish entities. The desperate parts have to divest, dissociate, discard and abandon their previous identity. You're identity is you the torin fact, defiance. A single person as someone who comes with the edge of their clothing, meaning their entire universe ends where their clothing ends. It's just you and your world. And now you have to leave that. You have to walk away from that.You have to leave your father and mother to create something new,. To cleave someone else, and to forge that into one flesh, into one identity. Marriage thus is banishing our innate and inborn selfishness.
