Slavery and the Insurrection

On august 20 second 17 91, the insurrection officially began in the parish of coul. Within a few days, something like 200 sugar plantations and 12 hundred coffee plantations had been burned to the ground. The principal object of the moment was not hunting down and killing the masters, but reducing their beloved sugar empire to ashes. As the revolt progressed, nearly every slave camp had its fair share of prisoners.
