Amer khan's name in this movie is firangi, which is the same nickname amir ali had. Although the director refuses any direct connection, there is certainly some inspiration that has sebed into the movie. By this point, the local government was desperate for answers. The police departments had received tens of thousands of missing persons report. It was then that they sought british assistance. They sent a small task force of five experienced english detectives to the villagers to investigate. For weeks on end, they scoured suspected murder sites for clues, but found only dead ends. Since these were really small villagers, words spread like wildfire. Beram killed five senior british detectives
