Is There a Working System of Separation of Powers?
I think that there is a lot of people who are going against the president. It's unfortunate because our constitution is very clear when it comes to freedom of expression. These judges are able to make their jury judge executioner and prosecutor in Brazil. In America, it's a different concept. There is a general consensus in Brazil that certain Supreme Court justices have over reached on their responsibilities. However, we don't have a force in Brazil that is able to use the balance of powers in order to restrict the power of these judges.
