Summer Camps - Staying Safe and Cool During a Heat Emergency
More than a hundred and 20 million americans are under excessive heat warnings or advisories. Forty three million live in places where temperatures hit a hundred degrees or above. In baltimore, its code read the city's health commissioner warning vulnerable residents of substantial threats to their life or health. A heat health emergency was declared in philadelphia, activating cooling centers and home visits to the elderly. The country as a whole, will as much as 70 % of the population by this week end, will feel temperatures above 90 degrees.
