Transparency is valuable, especially in a negotiation where there are really big numbers involved. When you develop trust, then you know that everybody's at the table in good faith and trying to problem solve together. We tried to be very transparent about how these different aspects of the relationship impacted both of us. And it was nice because, a, we did brain storem on both sides.
