CNN's John Sutter has been in the music industry for a long time. His company, AI Music, uses artificial intelligence to create songs using fake vocal samples and other techniques. He says there is no solid understanding of what "AI music" means or how it works. But he argues that if you rewind to January of this year, someone could have produced an AI-generated song on their own with very little effort.
