The important thing is signals are a low level building block. They even work with outstate management. So they allow for this fine-grained change detection. The interesting thing here is that the Angular team is already talking to all the major vendors of state management solutions. All of them have already announced that they are working on signals. There are also several CFPs for working with signals.
