Interconnection between Expansion, New Currency, and Trade; Morocco's Interest in Joining BRICS

Exploring the interconnection between expansion, the new currency, and trade, this chapter discusses the intention of the new currency as a trading mechanism rather than an individual currency. The chapter also explores the idea of establishing a unit of account within the BRICS group for facilitating trade, inspired by J.M. Keynes' proposal from the Bretton Woods Conference in 1944.
