It's still a fact that Gary Thomas lost steam at the last part of the time trial. He also said, and I think in the very early refraction, that he was happy that he lost it by that much because if not, it would have been the shame. So yeah, he lost it fair and square but it would probably been a little bit easier to manage the losses if he'd known where he was next to Roglic. Brian just had time to read various things and scan the headlines and some of the opinion pieces about yesterday.
