In the purest definition of the mete verse, it's more like the open web. Mark zuckerberg saw years ago apple and guge were able to build their own walled gardens,. And he doesn't want that to happen again. So he's building his own walled garden. Forget about all the messaging about making it cheap and accessible. That's not wha they're doing. They're making it expensive and inaccessive. All f these tech giants, joaner, they have seen what how valuable an operating system is. They want to create one for the metavers.
