Dr. Shila Patel was born in Kenya and completed her medical training in Scotland and England before moving to the United States at age 26. A licensed psychiatrist for over 25 years, she has worked extensively with both children and adults. During the pandemic, witnessing a sharp rise in mental health challenges, she authored three books, Us, US Unhinged, and US Fractured, to encourage self-awareness, personal responsibility, and healing. 📈 Rising ADHD Diagnoses and Medication Prescriptions
