The first internes leave the isle of man in early august. The hutchison camp transforms into a prisoner of war camp in about 19 forty three. By that point the number of internes on the island has really drastically shrunk from tens of thousands down to less than a thousand. But yes, some people don't get out until the end of the war for whatever reason. Perhaps they had a relative who served on the german army in the first world war and m i five can't be sure to let them out. Some people ain turn for the entire war. And there as well, of people who spent the whole war in turn.
