The Fed's Favorite Inflation Gauge
This week, specifically, we're going to get a GDP number here on Thursday. People have been talking since last year that we would be in a recession at this year. Even two consecutive quarters of negative GDP, at least in the United States, does not constitute a recession. We need to see inflation continue to moderate based on both the CPI and the PPI.
