Leonardo's Mona Lisa
Mona Lisa was painted by Leonardo for the wife of a Florentine businessman. But she never gets his painting and he takes it to Paris with him when he moves to work for the King of France. There is an argument that Mona Lisa isn't really a portrait of a real woman anymore. It's actually quite idealised. So there's a sort of question about what's going on there with that portrait, whether that's a real Lisa or not.
