Optical Properties of Soot in a Nuclear War
The idea that if you had a nuclear war, sunlight would be blocked by the suit particles that were thrown up into atmosphere. And so as time goes on, what happens to them? If they m if they coalesce like a liquid would, then eventually the specific optical density of the of the aerosol would reduce. But if they coagulate and stick together in a more sort of rigid fashion, a more space filling fashion, then there, if it's a very porous structure, then em as aggregation goes on, the specific opticaldensity hardly changes at all.
