The 100s: A Challenge to Bring Disaster to Reality

It was due to launch in 2020, but we obviously had the COVID pandemic which meant we had to cancel it in that first year. It's a brand new competition being launched from the start for men and women which is really important and part of the fabric of the 100s. I think actually at that time, I remember there was this narrative building around women's sport and around is women's sport going to be able to bounce back strongly after the pandemic. We built up this wave of momentum. The last big event prior to that moment in March 2020 was over 80,000 people watching the women's T20 World Cup at the MCG and Melbourne.
