The House Judiciary Committee voted to allow members to lead the Pledge of Allegiance before a hearing. The committee's first priority is protecting the Constitution, which has been assaulted by the administration and Democrats in recent years. "I don't know why we we should pledge allegiance twice in the same day to show how patriotic we are," Rep. Steve Israel said.
