The Effects of Exercise on Visceral Fat

You get more of it as you age. Our fat burning hormones like testosterone, growth hormone, things that keep us thinner when we're younger, they start to decline and we start to just accumulate fat in places. Exercise is a great way to do this. It moves our visceral fat out of our belly and into the periphery where it's safer. And not only does exercise reduce visceral fat, but also subcutaneous fat for the most part.
