The Different Types of Search
There's what I call self-funded search, searchers buying generally small businesses. They're usually using SBA loans to cover a majority of that. And then the other category is called independent sponsors or fundless sponsors. Those are often someone that used to work at a private equity shop or maybe was a CEO of a company in a similar space.
