Genesis Day Attacks Research and Academic Organizations in South Korea
Chinese speaking threat group Genesis Day has been targeting research and academic organizations in South Korea. Fortinet reports that based on their traffic analysis, March saw a significant increase in malicious activity with the evil extractor tool. The European Air Traffic Control Agency EuroControl says it's under cyber attack by Russian actors. Ehrman Tashira worked on cyber transport systems, according to an Air Force job description.
