A good filter is to say, really, it's a big complicated situation and everybody thinks it's going to go right. Well, I'll predict it goes the opposite. How often would you be right? At least half the time. A lot of people who took the contrarian view on COVID will tell you that they got everything right. Maybe they did. Maybe they didn't.
