We know polygamy exists in African societies and is accepted. And if you look at Kenya, for instance, in May this year, it's made polygamy legal. A man can marry as many wives as he wants to. I agree with you that it's a retrograde step. My point is that the majority of women who are reroded into it or whatever don't have what it takes for them to make independent choices. They don't have the wherewithal in terms of independence. It does not look ridiculous, it is absolutely painful.
